Starting off in the business of ICT; the owner of Auto Addicts, decided to turn the hobby of selling and buying of vehicles, into a registered business.
On 3 January 2017, after leaving the ICT industry behind and the car selling business growing at rapid pace, Auto Addicts officially opened it’s doors. After purchasing it’s first premises, a lot of maintenance and development had to be done in order to make the new premises attractive and pleasing for customers.
The first year within this new industry and business had it’s challenges but with hard work, dedication and familiarization of the business, we came out stronger. With only 2 staff members employed at the time, the business has grown tremendously and at the end of 2017, we became a staff of 5.
In mid-2018, we bought another premises, completed renovations and we were fully functional in July 2018. As the business grew and developed, so did our Auto Addicts team, as we became a staff compliment of 19.
Throughout the years Auto Addicts has grown not only the staff members but also their stock.
Auto Addicts now sells their vehicles all across South Africa through TAC and customer travel from far to visit their premises.
Fast forward to 2024 and the Auto Addicts team is flourishing in the new premises, still growing every day with a team of 35 staff members!
The team at Auto Addicts are still striving towards excellent service and becoming the number 1 car dealership within the Eastern Cape!
